General Information:

1. Please be on time. During the peak times we may have multiple groups on site. Groups are scheduled so as to provide the best experience for the group. Tardiness causes delays, disrupts schedules and may result in missing some activities.

2. Dining. Limited space is available in the Kiser House restaurant, and our outdoor picnic areas are on a first come first served basis. Please inform us at the time of reservations of any dining requests. Food items must be prepaid no later than 14 days prior to visit. A menu and price list are available HERE. Please do not take food and drink into historic buildings.

3. First Aid. Should an emergency occur, please notify the nearest Westville staff person for assistance. First Aid kits are located at the museum store and the Kiser House restaurant.

4. Pets and Animals: Please do not bring your pets on your tour. For the safety of guests, as well as the animals. The museum's livestock, farm animals, cats and dogs should not be fed or petted unless supervised by museum staff. Also, please avoid contact with wild animals living in the village, including squirrels, raccoons, foxes, and armadillos.

5. No Smoking. Smoking is not permitted in any of the buildings.

6. Bus Security. Bus drivers are responsible for the security of their vehicles.

7. Accessibility. Efforts continue to be made to see that the facilities at Westville are accessible to our guests with special needs. Due to the nature of Westville, the dirt streets are difficult for the narrow wheels of wheelchairs. Wheelchairs with wide tires are able to negotiate the dirt streets. Also, Westville has electric scooters available for guests with special needs on a first-come, first-serve basis. Call in advance to reserve the electric scooters.

8. Photograph Policy: When making a group reservation, you are giving permission for your group to be photographed, allowing Westville to use the group's or individual's likeness for its publication and marketing purposes.
