Museum Store

A bit about the building.  It was moved to Westville from Lumpkin when the museum opened to the public.  It has been the museum's store for 38 years.  It was originally a general store located at the outskirts of Lumpkin in Stewart County, Georgia.  It was built in 1842 and was owned by the Randle family.

The museum store is open when the historic village is open - Thursday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 5;00 pm and Sunday 1-5 pm.

Admission tickets are purchased at the store.

The museum store offers a variety of goods from Westville made handicrafts, to food items, toys, books and unique gift items.

Westville-made items include pottery, cane syrup, lye soap, candles, quilts, brooms, woven fabrics, iron items from the blacksmith shop, and wood items from the wood shop.

Electric scooters for those requiring assistance getting around Westville are picked up and returned to the store.

THERE ARE NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS IN THE STORE.  The restrooms are in the village just inside the entry gate once admission tickets are purchased.
