Spring in Our Town
Spring forward and experience an explosion
of colors and activities - stitching, sewing, and
gardens growing. On selected weekends, a few
activities that crop up are a Spring Wedding, a May Day Celebration, sheep shearing, music and games.

1836 Creek Indian War
“Westville Under Attack” historic battles and Indian camp - skirmishes on Saturday.
12:30pm and 3:30pm - Sunday at 2:30 All Times eastern.

Games We Play
“Ready, Set, Go” Rolling Hoops, Flying Graces,
Pitching Shoes, Jumping Sacks, Rolling Marbles,
Pick Up Sticks and “Leaping Lizards” a whole lot more.
July 4
Celebration of Independence
Blue Grass, Barbecue - Blowing the Anvil,
watermelon, greased pole and lots of races.
August 30
Come Fiddle in 1850
Fiddle players young and old compete for cash prizes.

October 18
Georgia Secedes from the Union
Trauma and excitement in the town of Westville as villagers face the reality of secession’s impact on their lives. Re-enactors will have recruiting stations, drills and demonstrations.
October 25 - November 8
Cotton Pickin' Good Time
Cotton gin “bumping” and sugar cane syrup “bubbling” are sure signs of fall in 1850. Young and old join together for an autumn celebration. Activities include stacking hay, shelling corn, games from the past and plenty of country
cooking. New this Year is Dutch Oven Cooking Contest so keep your lid on and get ready.

Westville by Candlelight
Magical is the word for this holiday event. Breathtaking displays of greenery with the
sparkle and warmth of candles flickering in the night. Christmas Customs of Germany, Scotland and England come to life as visitor’s journey through time. (Village is closed during the day and opens at 6pm). Additional Fee.
December 13
Yuletide Feast
This reservation only holiday Buffet brings the Spirit of Christmas Past to all visitors. A
sumptuous winter dinner in a festively decorated structure with the sparkle and golden glow of candles is sure to warm hearts and make “A Christmas Celebration to Remember”.
