2015 Special Events

Saturday and Sunday May 23 and 24

Experience the upheaval of the 1830s Creek Wars! The village will be inhabited by Muscogee Creek Indians who are eager to share with you their traditions, skills, and stories. Talk with the militia and citizens of the town and discover the “why’s and wherefore’s” of the Wars. We will re-enact 3 battles which took place nearby. Enjoy special cultural presentations throughout the day.

Hear first-hand accounts from re-enactors that tell WHY the Wars happened and how people on BOTH sides felt about it!
